About Thomas

Bio: Diane has completed extensive advanced training courses over the past 25 years, including a year long training in the Maitland Approach to Manual Therapy. Other advanced training experiences include mobilization of the nervous system to treat neural tension and thoracic outlet dysfunctions, the Kaltenborn approach to mobilization of the spine, evaluation and treatment of muscle imbalances, and many other courses for treating dysfunctions in the knee, shoulder and pelvic girdle. 

Training: Diane completed her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy (MS, PT) at the University of the Pacific. She earned her Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Zoology at the University of California, Santa Barbara. 

Specialties: Diane enjoys working with a wide variety of clients with orthopedic injuries and movement dysfunctions. She believes the best treatment outcomes come from a partnership between the client and the therapist, where the therapist uses manual therapy to help increase mobility and decrease pain, while instructing the client in self care for pain management, postural education, and exercises to restore function and balance. 

Hobbies: Diane is an avid reader and enjoys spending time with her family in the great outdoors. She loves hiking and camping in our beautiful National and State Parks and taking her Labrador to the ocean to play.
