Tim Appleford, PT, MSPT, OCS, ACT
Tim has extensive training in manual therapy for the neck, back, shoulder and hip. His treatment emphasis is on biomechanical assessment and treats with a mixture of both manual therapy and functional exercise. He has completed several continuing education courses concerning biomechanics including The San Francisco Giants First Annual Sports Medicine Conference as well as the UCSF Running Course: Clinically Applied Biomechanics. He has also received training in Gyrotonic, a type of movement-based exercise program.

Tim enjoys working with a diverse population needing treatment for orthopedic issues, sports injuries as well as those seeking conditioning and movement analysis. Tim has prior experience working with the UCLA football, track and baseball programs and is a certified athletic trainer (ATC).
Tim has been married for 13 years to his wife Tamara, who is also a physical therapist. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, reading, walking his dog and exploring the Bay Area.
